Greenpeace is 40 years young today. The most excellent organization evolved from the peace movement and anti-nuclear protests in the early 1970s and has been a powerful force for positive change throughout the world ever since.
There's been a number of victories over the years, the most recent the Greenpeace Detox challenge, which was accepted by Nike in August this year. They've officially committed to eliminating all hazardous chemicals across the entire supply chain, and the entire life-cycle of its products by 2020. Excellent!
